Get Involved

Get Involved Love Is A Rose Not-For-ProfitOur Mission is to create a Decade of Healing & Kindness.

There are a lot of ways anyone can participate. A simple act of kindness is a powerful tool.

Thanking the grocery clerk, calling a neighbor or a relative to see how they are doing, bringing a meal to an elderly person in the area. being nice to a stranger, comforting someone who has lost a loved one, all are easy ways to heal others and show kindness. Let us know the ways that you see you can bring kindness to the planet.

What we are doing is to make available the gifting of long stem roses and a message of gratitude, love, & inspiration to residents of nursing homes & their caregivers, health care workers, first responders, police & firemen.

Individuals & corporations who believe as we do that these 'HEROES OF THE DECADE" should be honored & respected can donate for or "adopt" a specific organization, or give to a general fund thru the tax-deductible 501-3C.

That can be done by sending a Paypal payment to kindness@loveisarose.org or sending a check made out to Loveisarose NFP to 29w120 Butterfield Rd, Suite #106 Warrenville, IL 60555. For credit card donations, more specifics, questions about volunteering, or sharing the project with others call us at 630-393-1111.
Recently we supplied roses & messages to the 900 nurses at the Northwestern Hospital, in Winfield IL & the 800 residents & caregivers of "Friendship Village" in Schaumburg. A kind sponsor, Monique wanted to thank the Fire Department in Woodale, IL who assisted her when she was gravely ill. Together we developed a program for her to sponsor the department with roses to honor them & show her appreciation.

Who do you wish to honor or express your gratitude for? How do you see that you can participate?. Let us work together to make a difference in their lives as they have in ours. Let's create a world that works for everyone with no one left out. YOUR kindness is very much appreciated.
